About Me

Mum to two chaotic and energetic boys, wife to a tech loving hubby and walking companion to a lively cocker spaniel – I am a bubbly, friendly HR enthusiast.

As a huge nerd and lover of lifelong learning I’ve always enjoyed studying and sharing ideas, and have found tons of value in connecting with wider HR colleagues as part of my own professional journey. We live in a crazy, uncertain world and that makes the business of “managing people” a complex task. Now more than ever, the HR community need one another for support and encouragement, as well as for continuing the growth and development of our profession. I hope that by starting this blog and sharing my ideas, as well as highlighting interesting cases, I will be able to evoke wider discussion with other professionals.

A bit about my experience – I’m an HR Business Partner working in a large public sector organisation. I’ve also worked in the third sector, and had the joy of working in commercial recruitment for a couple of years (an interesting experience, but never again!). My passion is change management and employee relations, and I love the fact that my role is both strategic and operational.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading my posts, and that you’ll feel compelled to comment and join the discussion!
